Full-time and part-time positions with DAMY Logistics, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner delivering packages in company provided new front-wheel drive vans. We are hiring delivery drivers at all levels and working with latest tools and technology from Amazon logistics.  

We are looking for people to join our growing team of who are reliable, safe, energetic and ready to get the job done.

What does a Delivery Associate do?

• Drives a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within their community.

• Commonly works 4-5 days a week. 

• Typical working days are 9 to 10 hours.

• Classroom training and training routes are provided to start

• Follows strict safety standards on and off the road.

• Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.

• Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process.

What are the basic requirements?

• Must be 21+ and have a valid driver’s license for BC

• Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van.

• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers.

Our company is focused on providing the best customer service and having a strong team culture. Our team is made out of a culture based on trust, communication and continues improvement. We are currently looking for a dispatcher to help us manage our daily operations an Amazon DVC6 in Surrey.

What you will be working on:

·       Weekly schedules

·       Daily assignment of devices and vehicles

·       Coordinate loading and support drivers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery

·       Monitor delivery routes, using Amazon tracking tools

·       Maintain contact with the Delivery Associates through their shifts and address any issues they might have

·       Monitor and assuring delivery associates follow work method and procedures.

·       Manage daily reports

·       Coordinate maintenance schedules and be able to conduct preventive maintenance checks on vehicles

·       Coach and mentoring of Delivery Associates

·       Prepare weekly and daily schedules

·       Track and Coordinate maintenance schedules.

·       Conduct maintenance checks and inspections

·       Manage fleet vehicle database

·       Manage delivery associate tools inventory (cellphones, chargers, phone holders, safety kits, etc.)

·       Monitor end of day reports and pre route inspections

·       Contact Customers to try to re-attempt deliveries

·       Identify and coordinate route rescues when needed

Skills:

·       Strong people skills with an ability to quickly develop rapport with delivery associates and customers

·       Provide and clarify information to the Delivery Drivers

·       Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

·       Highly organized, detail-focused and goal-oriented

·  Experience in Geo-tracking applications

·  Strong computer skills in excel, google sheets and google drive applications.

·  Car/truck maintenance experience

·  Strong skills working with phone apps.

·  Able to properly identify customer needs, clarifying information, and providing solutions and/or alternatives

·  Highly organized.
